Usage information is collected for diagnostic purposes only. We do not track file names or file paths. We gather some statistics such as the number of files and number of links that were processed. Usage information sent always includes your license information, such as company and contact name. Again, we do not track or transfer file names or their locations. Probably the most intimate thing we track is the type of file processed. No files, its contents, or file paths are collected.
We recommend you always keep port 443 open. When you turn off port 443 you lose the ability to open a support ticket via the application and you lose the ability to check for software updates through the application. Usage information is sent using the same port.
