1. Click on modify Links in LinkFixer Advanced.

2. Under Select folder, Select folder/s that you need to modify the links to.

3. Click Select Files. Depending on the type of file you want to modify, tick the appropriate selection.

4. Click Select Links, The default is set to "Process all links in selected files" but you can make any selection depending on your need.

5. You can generate a "Before" preview of the folders and the files you selected by clicking on "Preview Before".


6. The next step is to create a rule to modify links using "Start with". Click on Create rules and then click "Add", this will allow you to create a rule for the links to be modified.

7. After clicking "Add", A Define rule window will pop up. Define rules are as follows:

- Method: Click the drop down arrow and select "Begins with"

- Component: Full filespec is selected by default.

- From: This is where the file/link is originally located

- To: It is where the link will be transferred to

Optional steps: Match case and Match Slash orientation


Click "Ok" once you have supplied the details. You will notice that Create rules have been supplied and a "checkmark" before the rule you set up.

8. You can generate an "After" preview of the folders and the files you selected by clicking on "Preview After". Click "process files" and then click on "Run" to Begin the process. 


10. Once the Process is complete, you can select "Summary" for a PDF file report or "Detailed" for an Excel report.
