Logs are an important part of troubleshooting any LinkFixer Advanced issues. Log settings are available under the "hamburger" menu | Settings | Logs tab. Below are the different log levels, their respective descriptions, as well as other logging options.
Log Level
In the “Log level” drop-down list, you can set the level of detail of information that is logged.
Off
Select “Off” to set LinkFixer Advanced to turn off all logging. This is not recommended as there will be no data to send to Support if any technical issue occurs.
Basic
Select “Basic” to allow LinkFixer Advanced to minimize the size of the log file when LinkFixer Advanced is operating normally. This is the default setting.
Detailed
Select “Detailed” to allow LinkFixer Advanced to show logging at the “debug” level. This setting maximizes the size of the log file when LinkFixer Advanced is operating, while also providing detailed log entries if errors occur on any particular file or link.
Rollover Interval
Select the desired option to set the frequency with which the LinkFixer Advanced log file is rolled over and new log file is started.
Rollover File Size
In this selection box, you can set the maximum file size that is allowed before the LinkFixer Advanced log file is rolled over and a new log file is started.
Purge Log Files After
In this selection box, you can set the number of days to keep log files. Specify the number of days after which older records will be deleted.
Purge Log Files When Total Size Exceeds
Select this box to purge log files according to their size on your hard disk. Specify the size in gigabytes.
