LinkFixer Advanced provides a specific method to establish communications with your OpenText Content Server. To connect to Content Server, open LinkFixer Advanced and navigate to "Network Locations" by clicking the Hamburger menu on the top left hand corner of the main page.
Click Add | OpenText
- Select a name to identify this OpenText connection on the Network Locations screen.
- Enter the URL of your OpenText server.
- Provide the name of the directory in which your Content Server is located. By default, this is "OTCS", but could be different on your server.
- Provide the name of the directory in which the Web Services file is located. By default, this is "les-services", but might be different on your server.
- Select a link format from the choices provided in the link format drop-down.
- Prove the requested Authentication information via Windows or Customer login credentials
- Click {Test}.
If your content server is online, and you have provided the correct information, you will get a success message. Dismiss the success message and click {OK} to return to the Network Locations screen.
OpenText will now appear in the list of network locations and show as "Online". OpenText will now also show as a node in the "Select Folders" screen of the wizards for all LinkFixer Advanced processes.
