When doing a migration, the expectation is that you're going to process a huge number of files. So, we designed LinkFixer Advanced to select drives and folders with the assumed intention that you will want to process all or many of the files in those selected locations.
There are advanced filters you can use that allow you to isolate the file types and link types to be processed in the selected folders. In our experience this has been totally sufficient for our client needs.
If you wanted to isolate a file for processing, there are a couple of ways you could do it.
- Place that single file into a folder by itself and choose that folder for processing.
- Remove the other files from the folder that the subject file is in.
