LinkFixer Advanced stores extensive information about the files and links it processes, including the following:

  • Parent file name
  • Parent file path
  • Parent file type
  • Parent file size
  • Parent file ID
  • Parent file number of links
  • Parent file time stamp
  • Child file name
  • Child file path
  • Child file type
  • Child file ID
  • Child file time stamp
  • Child file link status


This data is stored in a database on your Microsoft SQL Server. (During testing, this data may be stored the SQLite database that is installed with the LinkFixer Advanced application.)


LinkFixer Advanced does not send any file or link data to LinkTek, or any third party, except when the user chooses to submit logs, reports and other diagnostic data when requesting support from our Support staff.
