It is not necessary to have Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint installed on the same computer with LinkFixer Advanced. This is because LinkFixer Advanced performs “direct binary file access” on these types of files and does not need to use the Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access applications when working with these files. This allows LinkFixer Advanced to process files much more quickly than it could if it had to use the Office applications.
